Rare Founders’ legendary open mic pitching and networking event returned this summer with a special focus on defence. The evening kicked off with a fireside chat featuring Logan Torrence, founder of an AI defence company advancing national security, and Dan Bowyer, 4× exited entrepreneur and Partner at SuperSeed VC.

The night followed the classic Rare Founders format—female founders first, followed by rounds of open mic pitching where defence startups had one minute to impress the crowd. Between pitches, guests enjoyed buzzing networking sessions, all hosted at Blue Marlin Ibiza London, our venue partner.
