Rare Founders brought back its legendary open mic pitching and networking night during London Tech Week, creating an evening full of energy, connections, and honest conversations about startups and fundraising. The event kicked off with a fireside chat featuring Chris Howard startup psychology researcher at MIT, investor, and entrepreneur who shared insights on what it really takes to get funded, why the US outpaces the UK in startup success, and what VCs and angels look for before writing a cheque.

Afterwards, the night came alive with open mic pitching rounds, where founders had just one minute to pitch their startups before the buzzer (and yes, the water guns!). Between pitching, the crowd enjoyed buzzing networking sessions that sparked collaborations and fresh opportunities.
