Enough complaints. It’s time to act and change things.
We are gathering the entire startup ecosystem to write the practical blueprint the government actually needs.
Over the past few months, one thing has become clear: the ecosystem is frustrated.
Founders, investors, and operators all feel the same friction: it’s too hard to build here, too slow to grow, and too easy to leave. We can keep shouting into the void on LinkedIn, or we can do what founders do best: fix the problem.
The goal isn’t to create another lobbying group or round of empty promises. It’s to produce a practical, community-written document—The Startup Blueprint for Growth—that we can share publicly and directly with policymakers.
Deadline: 28 Feb 2026
We aren't starting with a blank sheet. We are starting with a deadline. The government has opened a Call for Evidence on Tax Support for Entrepreneurs.
This is our immediate window to influence the rules on Capital Gains, Reliefs, and incentives for risk-takers. We will convene working groups to draft a unified, evidence-backed response before the window closes.
Target: Spring 2026 Budget
Tax is just the start. To truly fix the UK ecosystem, we need to look at it holistically starting with education, culture, capital, growth procurenent, exists.
Following the February deadline, we will expand our scope to cover the structural issues holding us back. This is continuous work, relying on all of us contributing a small slice of time.
Monthly themed sessions (Online & Offline). Small working groups form around key topics.
We submit our collective response to the Tax Support Call for Evidence.
Publication of the full Startup Blueprint for Growth ahead of the Spring Budget.
Every person who participates - will be listed as a Contributor on the Whitepaper (if you wish). You won't just be a bystander; you will be on record as one of the people who helped steer the UK economy back to growth.
This is open for everyone in the entire startup ecosystem:
Basically, anyone with a vision who cares about the future state of the UK economy.
HIGH IMPACT. NO FLUFF.
