We hosted She Rises 🌙✨

Our Woman’s Lunar New Year lunch at 45 London, bringing together 23 female founders from across London’s startup and event ecosystem, around one long table at 45 Curtain Road in Shoreditch.

And you know you’re in the right room when every single woman walks in and hugs you before you even know each other’s names.

We gathered to move from the Year of the Snake into the Year of the Fire Horse courage, independence, energy. A clean shift. A reset.

We began with networking and canapés, then a short grounding meditation. Everyone wrote down what they were leaving behind old habits, doubts, whatever felt heavy. We sealed them in envelopes. Later, we burned them. A symbolic fresh start for the new cycle.

Over a Japanese-inspired chophouse menu with Mediterranean influences, conversations deepened. Women grouped by star signs and non-negotiables. Laughing. Sharing wine. Speaking honestly. Like they’d known each other for years.

To close, we wrote anonymous letters to one another, placed into red envelopes and gifted back into the room.

She Rises is about women feeling safe, nourished, and seen. Taking up space. Resetting before stepping into what’s next.
